Wild Aldhurst Nature Reserve

Wild Aldhurst (formerly Aldhurst Farm) habitat and wetland is a nature reserve recently created by Sizewell C (power station). The reserve includes areas open to the public for recreational purposes and benefits a variety of wildlife.

This rewilding conservation project will improve the biodiversity of the area which is vital for restoring nature and helping fight climate change.

Open to the public all year round, welcoming anyone who enjoys nature and wildlife. Please enjoy responsibly.

Wild Aldhurst Nature Reserve

Wild Aldhurst supports a variety of wildlife including the rare marsh harrier, specialised plants, invertebrates, voles, otters, fish, amphibians, and reptiles.

This new wildlife habitat on the Suffolk coast has been designed to compensate for some limited future land-take from the adjacent Sizewell Marshes Site of Special Scientific Interest during the development of the Sizewell C nuclear power station.
