St. Margaret’s ranks as one of Suffolk’s most magnificent and historically important 19th century churches. Built in 1854, this Grade II* listed church is an important example of the Victorian Gothic style by architect Edward Buckton Lamb.
We are a warm and friendly church family, and as a new member or visitor to St. Margaret’s, you will always be made most welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.

The 14th Century west tower and 13th Century font are all that remain of the original Medieval church before it was rebuilt.
An ambitious reordering programme was also completed in 2006, providing a warm, inviting and flexible building, serving both the congregation and the wider community.
The building is well cared for and is much treasured by the local people, many of whom would have been baptised or married here.
