Stage one will see riders race from Woodbridge to Southwold, facing a 161.4-kilometre (100.4 mile) stage. A finish on the North Parade in Southwold will greet riders after a route that passes the famous Snape Maltings and alongside the sea to Thorpeness on to Leiston and Southwold.

Suffolk will host two stages in the same edition of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Men for the first time as Wednesday 3 September sees us start and finish in Stowmarket. A 169.4-kilometre (105.3 mile) leg takes in Debenham and Bedfield, Mid Suffolk and includes the first designated King of the Mountain climb at Semer Hill.
