Hayley’s pottery forms take cues from coastal landscapes, creatures and features. The beauty and oddity of hagstones and fossils have inspired pieces along with the power of the sea. Shapes, surfaces and glazes may evoke the natural world in an abstract form or at texture or pattern detail of a plant or insect.

Aldringham
The classes are designed to take students on a journey through pottery techniques, starting with slab building and coiling and then using projects to master techniques and exploring your interests and developing skills. They are suitable for the absolute beginner or those with experience.
Hayley predominantly works in Stoneware which is fired at a high temperature giving the final work more resistance to chips and breaks. For samples of work, view website.
